gearbox

bonjour people
I own a ninety with 2.5 na diesel with lt77 gearbox. Reverse gear has been popping out for a while and as it worsened I had to hold in and now it jumps out even holding it in. Can it be repaired economically or is the rest of the box going to fall apart or shall I get another box? cheers

there is no simple answer to this question, but much depnds on your experience with spanners, the problem is two fold, if you don't have the tools then you probably aint got the experience to decide whats shot and whats not, also when you open up a gearbox you can be opening a can of worms and look at a hefty repair bill to sort it propperly
