Update
Got her back from garage and goes as sweet as a nut (Touch wood)
BUT
In park with handbrake on
Start engine
Put in Drive and let handbrake off
Nothing happens
Check handbrake is really off, wee light in dash is out, but handbrake lever is really stiff and cant move it.
Put in Reverse and then back to Drive and drives away quite happily.
If I let handbrake off first then into Drive, she drives away happily again.

Anybody know why?
Is this serious or just a case of remembering to let handbrake off first?

Maybe wise to get under and see what the garage have done to the handbrake cable should not be like that. Handbrake should never be stiff.

Went underneath today and found a couple of bolts hadn't been tightened properly. One of them was on gearbox X member and had a bracket thing attached to the top which ran under the box and the centre bolt under the sump wasn't there at all. Handbrake seems better now but could be imagination.

They did a good job then. Bloody cowboys.
