Gearbox warranty issue?

Just before I bought it my TD5 had a recon gearbox clutch and flywheel from Ashcroft. The receipt says it has a 1 year guarantee which hasn't elapsed yet.
Ever since I got the car 1st -2nd when cold has been difficult when cold but now it baulks slightly between 2nd and 3rd with the odd crunch, again mainly when cold. Should I be looking to Ashcroft to sort it? I wonder if the guarantee is tranferable? Will be calling them monday but what do you guys think?

No hope. Just look at Ashcroft's site "The only liability accepted by the Seller for the repair or replacement of any defective goods is a liability to the original buyer for the repair or replacement of the parts, free of cost to the buyer".
U could try using a synthetic oil if not already.
