I've been waiting to have a gearbox fitted to my 200 tdi, i got a second hand "reconditioned 5000 miles ago" box, my mechanic has fitted it at last, but from what he told me on the phone earlier doesn't sound too good, he said it's fine going up the gears, but crunches/grinds when changing down the gears, can anyone shed some light on this, is it something that can be fixed, or do i have another duff gearbox?
