P38A Gearbox - Transfer box?

Well this is all probably my own fault. Could as easily be posting this in the What did you broke on RR today. Actually, I think I did a while ago - seem to recall one you wits recommended I polish it out....

However, thing is - car is suffering some gearbox issues. Now, I guess if you thrash it up muddy ruts and bumpy lanes at steep angles in low range and high range, something is going to give. Question is what?

Symptoms are; feels like the clutch is slipping - however its a 2.5D automatic.

What have I buggered? Gear box or transfer box?

Thanks Henry - I'll try that.
I have buggered about with the oil quite a lot - moved the oil cooler radiator - drained and refilled the sump but never quite sure I had fully filled the entire system.

Oil level is checked with the engine running

Check the level yes!
My son's gearbox over heated on sunday, I checked the level in the box, it's was spot on.... But with the engine stopped I guess the previous owner wasn't much of an owner.... Ffs
