gearbox TDI seal or gasket?

Hello all, this weekend I'm intending to change the oil in my 98 s reg Disco TDI (manual), the sump seems covered in oil I don't reckon it's ever been changed. From what I can tell I'll need about 3 litres of "Dexron 11D ATF and presumably a new gasket when the sump is removed. I can lots of info about changing oil on a TD5 auto but not on a TDI manual, anything I should be aware of and is it a new gasket or seal I need when putting the sump back on?

I own an auto, so have no experience of a manual, but don't you just remove the filler plug and then remove the drain plug, let the oil drain, refit the plug with a new copper washer, refill the box and then refit filler plug?
I'm sure your Haynes manual will cover it

Hi, I'm not too sure, seems the most logical but I have an auto as well and planning to do them both this weekend. It seems that the auto is more complex (check the link) but I can't find much written about the manual and it looks like it's leaking so there must be some sort of seal down there that needs changing.
