Whilst changing gear my gear lever snapped off down at the ball (bugger!)
Having removed it for welding (-will that work? - or will it just snap off by the weld?) Thought i might as well tackle the the two springs at front of selector which had snapped off/disappeared which bias the gear lever.
i can't find a picture in parts or haynes manuals to show these fitted.
Is it as obvious as it seems and they both sit side by side straight up and down - or is there some cunning configuration?
