gearbox problems

hi there i have a 99 disco v8 auto whilst out the gearbox seems sluggish the car goes ok but it just doesnt seem to have any ooomph and other times you can feel the car juddering then put your foot down and wallop away you go but it certainly feels differant the last couple of weeks or so any ideas would be great thanks.

gearbox is ****ed or auto box oil and filter change required

check the oil in the gearbox it could be tired or the filter might need replacing as stated by Fanatic.

Being a V8, sounds more like the engine misfiring to me, not the autobox

What makes you think it's the gearbox? Could be a number of reasons for it to feel sluggish, and gearbox wouldn't be high on the list.

stick it in the car auction , or be ready for a big bill , sounds like my auto which went bang and has cost me a grand to sort out !
