Gearbox Pressure ?

I've noticed a few times that my gearbox dipstick has been pushed out of its tube and upwards by an inch or more.
Am I getting some kind of warning ?

As the oil heats it expands this can cause the dip stick to be pushed out by air pressure if the gearbox breather tube is blocked. Check breather tube and clear any blockage.

Thanks Wammers. Will do.
One quickie : I ordered Beru glowplugs from Island 4x4 : they were out of them and supplied Delphi telling me they were OE. Is that right enough and are Delphi OK ? No point in fitting rubbish.

Personally I've never heard of Delphi, sounds like China's best. If you ordered Beru, I'd send them back.

Delphi are a VERY big corporation worldwide. Their glow plugs maybe made in China but then again so may Beru's. After all even a lot of Jap stuff is made there these days believe it or not. Panasonic batteries are marked "Made in China".

Changed the glow plugs and put in the Delphi : all I can say is that she's starting first time .....
1.I've asked on another thread : is there any visible sign on the old glow plugs that they are duff ?
2. For my comfort would anybody be prepared to admit how many of the little fastening screws at the top of the glow plug are nestling somewhere in ther engine bay ?....there's three in mine

Delphi are fine - they are a very good OEM manufacturer, and class leaders in Diesel fuelling technology,

Just don't get ANYTHING made by Britpart.
