L322 Gearbox issues.

hey, i just lost the power on the gearbox. was on the freeway, and was on the way to drive past a car, so out of no where, the rpm went up very high and would not pull anything, spins somehow. is the gearbox totally broken or can it be a leak some where and lost oil? and just too little oil? Its a 2002 3.0L

First thing to check would be gearbox oil level and condition for bits .

Find the problem, rust on the clips that hold the adapter to intercoller so the hose popped out, but i cant find eny plase to get the clip, eny one know about a electonis part caltalog

The clutches in an Auto a wafer thin once they start slipping they're fooked.

being the 3.0 it is most likely due for its annual rebuild.

been there got the t-shirt now trying a radical approach

LR only sell those clips with the £100 hose. BMW sell the clips on their own but I have no idea if it is same one.
