gearbox ecu

Hello. Does anyone know if a transfer box ecu from a manual 4 litre petrol will fit a manual 2.5 diesel ? Thankyou

The part number of the diesel ecu is err5882 and the petrol one is amr5808

Are you talking about a gearbox ECU or a transfer box ECU because in the subject is says gearbox but in your post it says transfer box.

If its the transfer box ECU then looking at Microcat there were different versions for different VIN ranges. This would make me think there is something different but when looking through RAVE it only lists one type of connection to the transfer box ECU so unless the software inside is different then I don't see why you couldn't swap another ECU in. There are different transfer box ECU's for manual vehicles and auto vehicles though.

Lastly, I dont know where you got AMR5808 from as this doesn't seem to exist.
