6 speed?

Believe you have this then here's a guide by "not LR" ZF 6HP26, 6HP28 Transmission Fluid Service Procedure (offroadrover.com)

Dont know the 3.6 so just pop under and have a look at the label:)

And as stated it isnt cheap but dont be tempted to skimp on oil for a gearbox that is "sealed for life":rolleyes:.

hiya

blimey that lifeguard has gone up in price , know many D3 owners have been using the mannol AG55 for the 6Hp , can see why so many that book there’s into a garage end up with a £500+ invoice

I didnt know there was an alternative as have never had to look, but the oil you state seems to be compatible. Would it mix ok with the original? I guess so.

Likewise mate until I got the D3 and started to read up what others used , seems to be very popular as an alternative , I bought 10 x litres of the AG55 from Germany for £50 delivered , yes can be mixed with the old ATF

think these were the specs ATF, M-1375.4 , Special ATF for ZF 6HP-26 automatic gearbox.

also personally wouldn't ever flush mine with a machine but just drain and refill a few times ,
