There was NO chance of me letting the local main stealer have it to fix. Their drug crazed yobbos won't be touching my car if I can help it.

Plate the EGR immediately if you have any sense.

Obviously this guy has lots to learn!
A. Landys aint performance cars
B. Dont steal other peoples ideas (ie the give a **** ometer) makes you look like even more of a ****
c. Obviously never had a new car before or he is just not aware of Ministry of transport law.

I kinda thought half the fun of owning a landy was so you can fix the endless problems that crop every one or two weeks. Keeps you on your toes and keeps you in a kinship with the machine. "Labour of Love" . You apreciate something a lot more if you spend countless hours looking inside its guts and repairing dodgy looking intestinal parts.

I took an old Landcruiser and a Hilux across Australias arid land with no trouble at all so they arent to bad although had some trouble with the cruisers 5th gear in the box that needed special attention. and the rear diff and wheel hubs leaked badly on the hilux. But it was hard going across the dirt rocks and sand. Wish i had a landy though. They were both heavily laden all the time too.

I new realise what my Landy is called a "Discovery"./

Every time I start her up is likely to lead to a new discovery of something going belly-up.

It's still a great car, and NO slitty comes close when push come to shove.

nope never had a new car, never been in the position to afford a new one till now.

i do enjoy a good fiddel with something but at this time in my life i am too bussy macking money to have the time to be fixing things.

if you all want a laugh here is a list of my previous cars since 17.

i am sure joseph did not invent the give a **** ometer so be sure to tell the **** not to pinch other peoples ideas.

i am sure i will get more enjoyment tacking my new un back to the garage to get new bits fitted than i would doing it myself.
