Ok. So where can i buy cat litter in bulk?... :D

You need a certain type of cat litter.. Your really looking for some ingredient called "Fullers earth" which is the ingredient that will soak out the red dye.. Better to use Natural cat litter.. You can buy it in 25kg bags cheep enough.. (Only know this when my mum went out and bought 2 new born kittens without consent ) Some places you can get it in 50kg bags too!. But it takes a lot of litter for not a lot of work.. You can try it though.. Line a funnel with decent kitchen roll, Then fill with litter or fullers earth and give it a go ;)

Although would rather use the acid technique ;)

It doesn't matter what colour your diesel is (you can buy blue, green and orange dye for diesel) It's the chemical composition HMR&C are looking for when they dip your tank. not the fooking colour. The red is only there so you can't "accidently" fill your road vehicle with duty exempt diesel.

So are you saying they're the same except the colour?

No a chemical tracer is added to duty exempt diesel. that is not in normal Diesel. If you get dipped they analyse the chemical content of the fuel in your tank. If they find the chemical tracer your in the ****. Big time. People remove the red dye and think the've beaten the system when they haven't got a fooking clue whats going on.

simple thing to remember when usin red is that its not the police your dealing with if you get sussed its the custom & excise (tax evasion) and they dont f### around sides of wich theres so many alternatives to using red that are prob cheaper an wont **** the C&E off also red is bein fazed out soon so anyone usin it now for off road purpose such as agriculture an marine will soon aft to pay pump prices an then claim the vat duty back according to my pal who lives on a narrow boat an uses red fer his baot an genny

...this is how they can tell its red diesel even with dyes removed because of its sulphur content and how it’s refined. In fact they can tell a hell of a lot about a fuel, right down to which hole in the ground it came from, and who made it.
