Gas from front n/s wing??

Hello all,
Could anyone please help.
I have a Td4 auto 2004 Freelander witch after being started make a humming sound which i have traced to the front n/s wing after the engine is turned off it continues to hum.
could someone tell me what the pipe is connected to so i can explain to the garage with-out looking like a numpty.

it's yer fuel burning heater - quite normal.

It's the FBH, or fuel burning heater as LR named it. do a search on here there's lots of threads on it.
