Gwac D1's are rare much like the CVC P38's and GWAC RRC's which were the first 3.9's.

it’s only cus they park outside the burger bar & we had a look round them while the test drivers were having a cuppa. I remembered the plates.

I chopped up a S2 then found outs it’s history. ‘‘Twas the recovery landrover for jag/landrover in the early 70’s

Nope...only for a week.(over 30 years ago now)
Iv destroyed all sorts from the LR testhouse for friends like 3.5efi tuned better/faster than a 3.9. These were engines for discos
(Engine number was stamped disco 1)

What a waste but I suppose you cant keep everything, they engines would have been worth a few quid.
