Fusebox related, silly question time!

Good afternoon denizens of P38 land!

And yes, it may seem like a silly question and you will forgive me for seeking advice from other forums, however, I do seem to have acquired an issue with Hugo (only one I hear you mutter under your breath:hysterically_laughi ).

I swapped the fusebox out the other week in the well founded belief that it may have been contributing to my BECM woes, well in short it didn't appear to be and so my BECM issues continue. What did happen though is the LPG system stopped working! All the fuses are okay and all relays were refitted in accordance with the book! So to my mind having put it all back together it should work right? After all the only thing different is the fusebox itself.....

Any ideas, anybody? Should I just put the old fusebox back in and hope for the best :behindsofa: I wasn't particularly too worried at first, this is my 4th V8 Land/Range Rover and I am addicted, up until now the cost of petrol was just one of those things but now, at £1.40 a litre, it's bloody ridiculous, given that I can't stop driving the bloody thing, my original plan to scrap the LPG system has been shelved and so I need to get it running again.

Did you fit the correct fuse box there are a few. They are not interchangeable.

I know there are some differences in the fuse boxes, but not sure what they are. A guru should be along to help soon hopefully

Told to buy new obviously swap it back and see or you may of just disturbed somthing , I did say make sure fuse box is correct as they are all differant not just engine vin as well if I remember check fuse box numbers ect you going to get that becm working like new for £200 then or live with it , I would !

Thanks as always for the prompt responses....and as always spot on Wammers! Put the 'old' fusebox back on which in all fairness appeared new when taken apart and hey-presto, everything is back to normal! (ahh define normal with a P38 I hear you say). Suffice to say everything that was working before i attacked the fusebox is again working, so this battle ids effectively a draw!:5bparty:
