Depends if the ciruit board is damged or charred. If it is there can be leakage between connections. If you do resolder it, spray with conformal coating after to damproof itWhilst in the garage this morning I found the old main fuse box off my motor. Is it worth re-soldering all the connections and keeping it as a spare. Nothing had failed with the old one, just the smell of burning. The plug in connections look fine, there's not much more to go wrong is there?
