fuel warning light

i have a 1994 300tdi i get about 210 miles out of a tank and the needle is well into the red but yet i have never seen my light come on wondering if it even works

how many miles you guys getting out of a full tank around town or when does yer ligh come on in reference with the fuel guage

sounds like it dont work mate my old 200tdi used to come on around 200 mls
how much do you have to put in to fill it up?

Try checking yer bulb.

how easy is it to check the bulb and take that bit of dash apart ?

Just undo the 4 screws (2 either side) of the instrument panel then ease the panel forward enough to get at the bulbs being carefull not to pull any wires out

mine comes on at bout half a tank if u brake hard enuf.

I've got a 'corner warning light' on mine, which comes on when you go round corners too fast.
Funny tho, its got a petrol pump symbol on it....
