Hi! Does anyone know if a Military Type under seat fuel tank fit into a series 1 86" landrover, due to the cost as a Paddocks STC613 looks simular to Craddocks 552328R (replacement series 1) but is £165 cheaper?

more important can anyone supply a pattern or a part for a Solex pbi carb' it's the throttle lever I'm missing I have bought the new carb from Craddocks but comes with no lever!

Thanks for any advice

If you've got your old tank draw up a sheet with dimensions and make one ;)

Folded 2mm steel plate will be plenty thick enough and then seam weld it all up

It sounds like he's looking at a ex MOD longrange fuel tank. which has the filling spout behind the seat..

noo series tanks are too cheap to fook about trying to make ya own.

Second hand also cheaper and if you search in market you will find also aftermarket and its depend upon you which one you want to install.
