Fuel tank strap

My fuel tank strap has just about rusted through, and I'm slightly keen to keep the tank attached to the car because I'm fussy like that.

Short of making my own replacement, does anyone know where I can get a replacement? I found a part number last week when I was searching, but couldn't really find any for sale!

Any ideas folks?

There's a second hand NTC5787 on e.bay. If your local LR main dealer can't get u a strap then there's very little hope now in finding a brand new one.

Thanks - I stupidly didn't state that it was the top one, but seeing the price of that second hand rusty one, I might be better off fabbing my own top and bottom straps and making them a little more heavy duty while I'm at it

Probably better of making one up if you can , I have dismantled loads od disco,s and they straps are never much cop

ESR2327 then, Rimmer bros have one Strap Assembly - Fuel Tank - Genuine Land Rover at www.rimmerbros.co.uk.
