Fuel spill pipe?

Hi All

Brand new to the forum and have a question straight away!

I was replacing the braided fuel spill hoses on my engine earlier and as I replaced the third hose I noticed an unconnected "pipe".

It's the one closest to the bulkhead. I took nothing from there - am I missing something?

it should be sealed ie blanked off ,the fuel runs from 4 -3 -2 -1 to rear of injection pump then tank
