I have to replace my fuel sender and my past record of ordering the wrong part is second to none! (I'll be selling some Mintex brake pads soon it would seem)
Its used for diesel and has 3 wires connected to it, thing is the vehicle was originally a petrol and possibly still has the petrol tank (if there's any difference?) Looking at the state of it I think its been cobbled to fit the tank. Anyone any idea what would be used as a replacement? Ive had a look on a few sites but nothing looks quite right, TBH its probably unique and nothing else like it!
What do the experts suggest?

Just bought a new one, on the way back the old one started working again

Changed it out for peace of mind, looking at how much fuel is in the tank the new one looks more accurate as well. Suppose its not surprising when you look at the state of the old one!!!
