Fuel rail sensor

Hi all I am new to the forum I am getting black & blue smoke coming out of exhaust have replaced all filters & diss connected maf sensor but when plugged into laptop it comes up fuel rail sensor fault!! Could it be the sensor or harness causing this ? & it runs lumpy @ times feel like I am going round in circles any advice appreciated ta
