New to this site and to the Land rover game,have got an early 1990 Disco 1 3.5 V8 on SUs-Its also got a gas conversion which I must say works really well.Problem ive got is this-She spang a fuel leak (petrol) from the rear,took the insp plate off & found the return to the tank had corroded thru-Genuine Landy part only (sounds about right for me) 151 Quid & thats at cost to me (got contacts) so removed the tank unit & reworked it-new pipe & brazing (ever tried to braze a collonder-pmsl.)any way got it done & refitted-now it wont run on petrol.3 wire feed to tank unit 2 for the gauge & 1 for the live to the pump-4 if you count the earth to the unit body.had to unsolder the wiring in the tank unit for brazing & remove the plastic wire connector (this broke inside so made a note of the connections & bypassed this) still no live to the pump.so what Im after is a wiring diagram for an 89 disco V8-ever tried to find 1,like rocking horse s***e.got a Haynes manual apparently acording to their wiring diag Landrover never fitted a fuel pump to this car-lol-so what im after is a proper wiring dia for my car-someone help me please.
