Fuel Pump Noise & Replacement

My disco TD5 fuel pump's making a buzzing / screeching / screaming sound from the moment I turn the key.

I've found one on eBay

Has anyone tried one of these by any chance?

Heard a few things online about some replacement pumps still making that same noise I'm getting now..

Also anyone know how to get the boot door sill off? As that's the way in to get to the pump, but it doesn't seem to pop off easily.

The sill has a clip in centre section that you pop up with a flat screwdriver. This exposes the screws underneath.

The carpet can then be lifted and bent towards the back seats to get to the pumps cover .
