Once again my "trusty" 19j has decided to cause me problems once again this week. After a burst brake pipe I thought nothing else could go wrong but it did.

I replaced the fuel pump diagphram again a few months ago but is has appeared to have split again, is this just an unlucky coincidence or is their a more serious problem. I once again disconnected the turbo line an collect a good 500ml of diesel each trip. What I have noticed is that the diesel of have collected is warm does this mean anything.

Amy help would be much a appreciated

The pump will be leaking behind the gasket, at a guess, and putting extra pressure on the diaphragm.

Take it you used a good quality replacement? Did you do it yourself, or FIP place do it?

Diesel is warm because the pump is warm, not a problem, some engines make it much hotter.

Thanks for the reply,

I replaced the previous one with a delphi oem part. Did the job myself.

I am guessing that the cave pump is the problem and the diaphragm issues are as a result of it.
Looks like I might have to bring forward the conversion after all.

Injection specialist might repair that for you. Or get another pump.
