Changed my fuel pressure regulator today as the old one was leaking. I apparently had the old type regulator so I bought a new type. The leak is still there, could I be really unlucky that the new one is faulty or is the regulator just doing it's job and letting fuel out due to some other reason.

Also to add insult to injury, when I reconnected my battery after the regulator change, my R990 Radio requested a code. I entered the code which came with the car but the radio doesn't accept it. The previous owner must have changed it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello there..

I have literally just had to change my pressure regulator on my TD5 as it was leaking from that small hole in the side !! However, the new genuine part seems to have solved the leak so I am unsure as to why yours still drips ?? Sorry cant help you further! Seems specialists advice is required !!

I'm kicking myself now, why did I bother, £80 for the part wasted and a radio that doesn't accept the code.
