fuel pipe size

i am looking to install a webasto night heater in my 90 but to do so i need a t piece for the fuel line. so my question is does anyone know the internal diameter of the fuel line. i think its about 6mm but i'm not 100%, i've done a search but maybe i'm using the wrong key words or something cause all it brings up is about replacing fuel lines and brake pipe renewal.

It'll be either 6 or 8mm id. Can you not measure the outlet with a metal ruler or similar?

i can do but by the time i get home its dark and bloody freezing and i was looking to get the piece ordered so i could fit at the weekend

It will probably be, as said earlier, either 6 or 8mm.

I know that some on here are pretty **** hot with their advice, however they are not mind-readers!!

Might be better to fit a stand pipe into the tank itself to save any possible air leaks from developing, this was what i did with my td5 disco.
