Fuel Pipe Help Required

Hi All

I'm looking at fitting an Eberspacher D2 to my 300TDi 90 and wondered if anyone could tell me the internal diameter of the fuel filler neck hose ?
I want to fit the standpipe that fits in between the hose but can only find them listed for TD5's so am unsure if it will fit !

Assuming a 300 is the same tank as a 200? I would just remove the fuel sender unit drill it and fit the stand pipe to it, or with the sender out drill the tank as you will now have access.
Ive just looked at the price 70 quid!

I have broken into the main fuel line before to get fuel supply, but not a good idea in case it goes wrong and causes fuel problems with the car.

Cheers for the reply. I did think of that, but was trying to fit it/something without having to drop the tank. The least I have to undo/remove, the better it would be. I always find that the more you do, the more work/expense it opens up !

No need to drop tank if its the same as 200tdi? its all under the drivers seat base access panel.
