Fuel mpg

Hi I have just bought a freelander td4 commercial 04 plate
Does anyone know what mpg i should expect for town/short start/stop journeys?

Around 32 mpg, up to 40 on a run

my td4 auto commercial gives around 30mpg about town, loaded to about 50%

Our 02 plate TD4 does mid thirties for mixed journies, 40 on a run, so you ought to get 30mpg.

Something to consider is that on the two settings that clear the windscreen, the heater is suplimented by the aircon. This speeds up delisting but also increases fuel consumption on short journies from cold. You can ease this by changing the blower settings as soon as the screen is demisted.
