Hi, PLEASE HELP.
2001 Y reg Freelander TD4ES.
This has only just happened, as I drove down my road and turned into the drive I noticed a strong smell of diesel and looking behind the car and along the road there was a trail of diesel.
I opened the bonnet and with the engine running could see Fuel squirting from a small pipe or such like next to the Fuel Low Pressure Sensor. I have enclosed a photos to show where it was coming from.It was coming from a joint which clips together. It"s the one directly in the middle of the photo.
It"s never happened before and once I had pushed the clip back in, the leaking stopped.
What I want to know is, is this a common occurence, is there as fault with this clip and if so how do I replace it?
Do I have to remove the Engine Electronic control module and if so how?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
