Hi all
Its been noted on my mot that i have a leak in fuel line at or near the injector pump. I think i have chased it to the rubber pipe which links the injector to what i believe is a fuel cooler? (On front grill beside rad)

I have notices these are flanged. Would i get away with cutting flanges off and double clamping the new pipe? I have new 10mm id fuel hose and it looks like it will be a pain in the backside to fit over flange.

Any help would be massively appreciated

Cheers
Bill

Not near the jeep now but if i are on d/s looking at inj pump and track the 2 pipes its the line closer to the block i need to swap

It will not go down well on here calling a Land rover a Jeep. The principal may well have been copied from Jeeps but Land rovers are not Jeeps. ;);)

Would the oil cooler lines go to the injector pump? There seems to be a leak of diesel here is that even possible?

Sorry im no mechnic ☺

No, of course not.
There are four lines from the pump, in , out , one to the turbo and one to the spill rail.
Also 4 metal pipes to the injectors.

So, two ontop of the pump front and rear and two down between pump and block.

My guess is if its down closest to the block its boost diaphragm to turbo, which could be a split boost diaphragm.

Hang on, do you mean the lift pump? Its near the oil filter, towards the back of the engine (drivers side) , has two pipes coming from the top of it (no other pipes on it at all) and a little lift up and down lever that is used to prime it?

Yeah but yeah but..... The lift pump lines don't go to a cooler next to the rad like the OP says....
Does anyone know what injun it is?
