Hi all me again, I'm after a bit of help with the
fuel gauge on my 2000 X V6 freelander. The
problem is it has a mind of it's own if I fill it
to the brim it shows about three quarters on
the gauge drive it the next day and it might be
half a tank after driving 10 miles? And I don't
no where to start is it the gauge or the sender
and how do you test which it is. Any help or
advice you can give would be appreciated.

Cheers Colin..

its the sender, or resistance in wire -ing [dont even think about trying to get clever with the fuel signal] youll blowed it up. . . . if you understand the earth return ma/ to moving iron law ,then fine ;)

Just fitted the new sender unit part no YAD000070 £39+ VAT
I'll go out this afternoon and top the tank up and see how I
go.

Cheers for all you're help.
