helo all,
i replaced the fuel tank. the one which arrived had a single hole in the top, not 2 two like the old one. time was tight so i fitted it anyway. i refitted the old float sensor but 180 degrees around as it wouldn't fit the other way because the hoe for the sensor is towards the front of the tank, not the rear. the sensor has 2 floats, one long one short.
now the problem is that the gauge gets to the lowest 1/4 of the tank and stops but there is still fuel in there. until it runs out but yo don't know! do the two tanks use a different sensor? any ideas? is the sensor adjustable? is it likely to be hitting something?
cheers, steve
