fuel filter

Changing the fuel filter on a 300tdi is an easy job on the disco 300 tdi. Takes no more than 10 mins. You literally just unscrew it and screw the new one back on. I used an oil filter wrench to get mine off as it was secured quite tightly. When I put the new one on, I just tightened it with my hand and didn't use the wrench, that way it will be easier to get it off next time.

I believe the fuel system self bleeds to an extent, but you should leave the bleed screw undone on top of the fuel filter & manually pump the fuel pump until it starts coming out & then do up the bleed screw.

Sedimentor doesn't just twist undone though... there's a screw you have to release on top of it which holds it up.

There's no need to bleed the sedimentor.

Just let your engine tickover for a few minutes when you're done to make sure all the air's out the system... If it splutters or stalls within the first couple of minutes, that's fine.
