Guys, I have a 1967 Lanndrover 2A in good condition, taxed and MOT's. Short
wheelbase. What sort of money should I be asking for it and where are good
places to advertise Landrovers.

My wife and I use it primarily for towing a horse box but it's only being
used 4-5 times a year, so we've decided to sell it so that it does not
deteriorate through lack of use.

Suggestions gratefully received.

Regards,
Darren (near Norwich, Norfolk)

In any of the Landrover comics, or put it on Ebay and see what it
makes.

For T&T IIA in good condition (ie sound chassis, bulkhead, running
sweet) I'd say somewhere around the £800 to £1200 mark, possibly more
if it's got an interesting history, overdrive, winch etc etc. The
Landrover mags is also a good place to get a rough idea of price, get
yourself a copy of LRO, or LRE etc.

I'd agree with the above, mine went last week for £850 locally(12mth
mot, good condition throughout), after being 'sold' on ebay for £1050, but
the buyer then pulled out.I think I maybe could have got a bit more, but
I wanted my front garden back!

No winch, it was removed and sold separately when we bought it. Factory
fitted overdrive though.

It was inspected by JSF Landrover specialists in Norwich at the time of our
acquisition and all is sound and running sweet.

Thanks for the pointers.

Regards,
Darren.
