I changed my oil pump bolt last night and in the process had to butcher my crossmember to get the sump out. all but 2 bolts snapped and i ended up grinding the tube off. Question is, do i need it on the vehicle (ill be offroading) and what is my best option for refabing one as i am getting a 2inch lift.
 
I'd prefer to keep it if it was my, I'd go for your plan of making a new one and one that will clear the prop after you do your 2" lift. I modded my one, most people space them down.
