My front N/S wheel is loose, but the nuts are tight, at around 30mph, there is a squeal from the N/S. You can rock the wheel if you pull from the top. Could this be the bearing? Its done about 80 miles since I diagnosed it yesterday, if it is a bearing, would it take much more?

Could be a number of things that cause wheel to move in an out at top.
Is there lots of oil on the inside of that wheel rim, if so, maybe swivel pins hadit or need shims, could be loose wheel bearings, could be buggered wheel bearings, none of these should cause the wheel to squeal unless, there is significant movement. Maybe something is amiss in the brakes and yoiu have to get to that speed for it to vibrate at "resonant frequency" possibly??? Is there any unusual wear on that tire? As for would it take much more, If bearing Iwould not be driving it!!

As ^^ says it could be a number of things. Taking it to bits is the only way to find out for sure. Good thing is it's a Landy so it's a piece of **** and it won't cost much whatever it is.

The front roller beqaring had turned itself into a thick silver paste with a few rollers mixed into the mush.
