Yesterday went for anual IPO (portuguese MOT), failed on cause of front shocks having over 30% of diference between left and right in values on testing machine.
Sachs replacements have been recommended by a fellow Freelander owner, but that experience is Td4 based.
My car is a 2000 Xedi 3door, it has a 3cm lifting kit fitted and I do some off roading.
    Any suggestions for replacement parts?

I'd stick with the original Delphi shocks.

that was my initial thought too, they lasted 267000 km so they have certainly proven themselves, but since I'm "abusing" it a bit more nowadays was considering alternatives.

There are other makes, but I suspect they're not up to the same quality as the original Delphi shocks.

The LR shocks are made by Delphi, but you can only find them under the LR number. ;)
