Front Shock Bushes

Easy job as long as the nuts come undone, which depends on when they were last undone. More than likely they will be rusted solid unfortunately but you may be alright.

Replace all the washer things while you're on. All depends on the state of things down there. Good luck.
 
Good luck, it's a swine to get undone if it's seized. Get some WD40 on it for a while to "try" loosen it off. You may also need the help of a friend. I had to use an oil filter tool to hold the shock itself while the nut was held. Make sure you have a spanner on it that fits....... And I mean fits!! If you round the nut, you might have to get the mole grips on it.

WD40 is a water dispersant not a release agent, can't remember the UK product name but you need a proper degrippant/release agent.
 
WD-40 is the trademark name of a penetrating oil and water-displacing spray

It does release and penetrate... Its not the best but its a good all rounder.
 
Dam, beat me to it !

"Rust you're nuts off" ( i think its called) is a better product, but if it's hard to find at a local factors etc, then WD-40 is better than nothing. (it has many uses other than moisture displacement)

WD40 was a water dispersant (Water dispersant 40th formula) developed by Larsen to protect the skins of Atlas rockets. It displaced water and formed a protective film on the skins. Larsen owned the Rocket chemical company which he set up for commercial distribution. But sold it. It has some lubricating properties but it is not a penetrating oil.
