I bought a set of front parking sensors from E-bay over Christmas which I have now fitted, I do have a problem with them though which I wonder if anybody else has come across.

The "beeper" is constantly beeping, unless I unplug it. I have disconected all the sensor connectors and yet the beeper still sounds I have to switch the unit off to get rid of the sound. The kit is a proper Land Rover Freelander kit part no. VUB502780.

The seller of the item (main land rover dealer) suggested I take it to my local dealer fro them to look at - they want £90.00 +VAT/ hr to take a look!!! I only paid £60.00 for the whole kit - the hassle factor of fitting them now means I want them to work!
