Hello there I was in the process of painting my front mudflap brackets when realised I was using the wrong sort of paint, silly me basically! I went through all the trouble of masking up whist they were still on the vehicle etc then looked earlier to find two new ones were only a tenner... I had a nightmare removing my rear brackets because of the rivnut, that’s why I refrained from removing the two front ones .. the question is are the front mud flap brackets a nuisance to remove like the rear with the rivnuts?

My old ones were a pain to remove. I ended up using a prybar and just forcing the rounded/loose rivnuts out the chassis. Not ideal if you intend to use the chassis again.

Ahh ok, well lads you have just answered my question, looks like I’m going to paint them in situ then haha!
