Dear Landyzoners - I return for some more sage advice.

I took the Def td5 in for an MOT on Monday indicators working - it came out as a fail for the indicators not working - thanks MOT tester. Anyway, both front indicators have stopped working - bulbs fine - side repeaters and rear indicators working fine - I tried changing the hazard light switch. No dice. Incidentally, Hazards also not working but I assume that has something to do with the front indicators being on the blink?

Before I call for some pro help (£££) does anyone have any experience of this or anything obvious I should be checking?

Thank you very much in advance...

I don't know much about Td5's but the usual advice on here would be to check - ie; remove/clean/vaseline/replace - the earths. Fuses?

I was under the impression that the fuses for the indicators were left and right handed - but I had checked them all anyway - any idea where the Earth runs? Could the indicator relay be at fault?

Thank you for your help

I would guess the indicators earth near the sidelights in the front inner arch. They do on mine, but I have the galved inner arches. Try running a piece of wire from the battery neg to the front earth point and see if it works then. Have you checked the wiring connectors on the indicator bulbs?
