front headrest dog guard securing ???

Ok I wanted to give the dogs a bit of room in the boot and saw that in the roof lining there was 2 more hooky things behind the front seats so dropped the rear seats and by the powers of elimination sussed that the base of the extendable dog guard goes into the base of the headrests for front seats BUT is there a special attachment I need as it is hanging loose, im impressedby the desighn though well done LR

When the back seats are folded fully forward so the bottom cushions are pointing straight up the dog guard slots into a fitting on the top of the seat base , well that's how it fits on mine , never used it as don't have dogs.

That makes sense and is corect cheers bit of a faf about but so is Beef Wellington. L322 drivers have it.
