How long av ye had yer RR???

bout 2 weeks just went out to see if i had any wiring there couldnt see anything will have to get it on a ramp to check

If its an auto DSE you cannot have front foglights due to the oil cooler being in the way.

If you have a manual DSE then you may be able to have them. You would need to check whether you have a highline BeCM plus associated wiring first of all otherwise you would need to get hold of the official wiring loom to fit them OR make something yourself.

iam just being lazy ill use the ramp how do i find out if i have a high BECM if not just goning to buy some from ebay buy a switch aswell and drop it off to an electrician

From Another Thread: Open the fusebox cover at the base of the drivers seat. At this point, you should see lots of fuses (if this is the case, things are going great :D). Now, the fuses are all surrounded by a black rectangular casing. Run your finger over the top of this casing to clear away any dust and dirt. You should see a label there, on this label you need to look for a nice big H. If its there, let us know and I can post the next chapter on what to do :D To be honest, if you have the heated seats you should definitely have the highline BeCM but best to check and let us know what you find :)

There ya go Wills, save ya typing it again :)

Hiya
I used to have a 1995 2.5DSE manual that I tried to put fog lights on. The lights themselves were no problem as there were connectors behind the bumper for them. Never found the connector for the switch though and didn't fancy taking out the dash to look. Ended up leaving them in for decoration......
Good luck

Just for info, the DSE you have sounds like it had the highline BeCM, the switch is not there and you need to get hold of it. The plug for it would be behind the centre fascia panel. Its a blue connector that is just taped to the loom unused. You put the switch in, untape the spare connector, hook it up and thats that bit done.

You then need to have the vehicle on a diagnostic machine to tell it that it now has the fog lamps fitted so it will allow you to turn them on and off.
