Front Fog Light applications

Hi All. I purchased some front bumper mounted fog lights for my Diesel Freelander a while ago but have not got round to fitting them yet. I noticed some for sale on ebay a while ago but it said for 1.8 K series only. Does anyone know if these will fit ok or is there some voodoo going on behind the bumper that will foul them? Probably best to check before I get the hacksaw out..

I know that the V6 2.5 litre Freelander takes a diferent type of fog light, a twin pod each side. They won't fit any other model, only the V6. Not sure if the 1.8 litre models will fit a TD4. One way to find out. I think you have to cut the bumpers up to find an answer. Could be messy !!

Hmm....cutting big holes in the front of my beloved L series to find out if they will fit is not really an option....Maybe LR Man could do a dummy run for me on one of his works vehicles...sure no-one will mind...LOL

its been a long time since ive had the bumper off a freelander with an L series deisel, and my memory has gone blank,

i think they will fit, cant think of any differences, intercooler is in the middle so that wont get in the way,

only one thats different is the V6 that has a bigger bumper,

why not phone LR parts and ask for a price for a set then say my freind has a 1.8 is it the same set for him ?

I didn't know the V6 bumper was bigger. Learn something new every day.
Good idea to ring Land Rover though. LR Guy has lots of good ideas
