Hi all... I have a 2002 TD4 ES 5 door and the drivers door seems to have 'dropped' slightly. It still closes ok but you can see when you shut it how it lifts itself in to place on the catch, also you can hear when you shut it more of a clunk and the bottom of the door sill on the chassis has some scuff marks were it is touching it. I have tried to see if it can be moved on the hinges by loosing the hinge bolts on the door and trying to realign but not had any luck. Is it just a simple case of new hinges or has somebody had this same issue and sorted it?

Thanks in advance!

it will be the pins that go down the centre of the hinge but do not tell the tratter boys i bet they will really laugh at this one , door falling off springs to mind

I was thinking of the abuse I might get as I wrote it:D

Can the pins be changed or is it just as easy to change the hinge?

If the pins have worn then the hinge will also be worn (usually) as the roll pin is harder than the hinge material. New hinge set on eBay app £23.
