front diff pinion bearing gone?

this morning I noticed oil over the gearbox cross member and then I could see it was coming from the diff pinion seal, ok so I need a new seal, however when I grab the propshaft near to the diff and shake there is quite a bit of play. Does this mean the bearing has gone too? and is it safe to drive for a day or two untill I can sort it?

Almost certainly the bearing has failed, don't drive it like that as it'll lunch the diff. There is a slim chance that the nut on the end of the shaft (hidden by the prop) has come loose but that is only a very slim to no chance.
