Hello folks
Is a big job replacing the front drivers coil spring on a Land rover 90?
Any help greatly appreciated
many Thanks

nope. you got a haynes manual? spring compressors? socket set?

basically you need to put the spring compressors on either side of the spring, jack the land up so the wheels are off the floor, undo the shock turret and lower damper bolt, remove the turret with damper attached through the top of the wing (after removing the cover and any bits in the way) get hold of the turret ring ontop of the spring and slide the spring out. if your fitting new springs remove the compressors slowely and a bit off each side at a time... you dont want to get wacked in the face with one of these!

if the new springs are going in, make sure they are the right way around. they will be progressive toward one end. apply the compressors prior to fitting.

its all explained in the haynes manual
